In 2019, Ronald Tye joined Larsen Forensics after a twenty-five year career in government service. He was assigned to the Department of Treasury U.S. Customs Service Office of Enforcement as a Senior Special Agent. Mr. Tye distinguished himself as the subject matter expert of Fraud and Internal Investigations. After twenty-eight years of military service Mr. Tye requested a recall back to active duty. As a Lieutenant Colonel in the Military Police Corp he was assigned to the Multi-National Security Command-Iraq as the Chief Advisor for the Ports of Entry in Iraq. In this assignment he supported the Iraqi Ministries of Defense and Interior and initiated numerous operational and procedural improvements and served as a key advisor.

Mr. Tye was assigned as Criminal Investigator to the U.S. Customs Service Office of Enforcement, Chicago, Illinois at which he was responsible for over three hundred Federal Statutes which the U.S.Customs Service enforced and regulated. Mr. Tye has extensive experience in law enforcement specializing in criminal, civil and internal investigations. He coordinated, planned, and directed complex investigations based on a sound understanding of investigative principles and procedures, provided testimony before Federal and State courts and respective grand juries. He also testified and appeared before the Court of International Trade.

Mr. Tye is a recognized as a fraud expert based on a career concentration of fraud investigations which resulted in numerous prosecutions and convictions. He identified systemic operational deficiencies during investigations and recommended corrective actions through lean principles and root-cause analysis.

Mr. Tye served as the subject matter expert and resource for management pursuant to the investigations of alleged employee misconduct. He developed and presented training programs in five (5) states for employees with respect to ethical standards and integrity.

Mr. Tye shows dynamic leadership qualities based on his numerous military command assignments. The Bronze Star Medal and Combat Action Badge were awarded to Colonel Tye for his participation in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Mr. Tye holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Criminology from St. Ambrose College, Davenport, Iowa and a Masters of Arts degree in Sociology/Criminology from Illinois State University, Normal, IL. He is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He is also certified as a Senior Criminal Investigator by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Glynco, Georgia. Mr. Tye is also a Certified Fraud Examiner and was sworn law enforcement officer.
