In 2015, Arthur H. Borchers officially joined Larsen Forensics as a Forensics Associate after assisting Larsen Forensics, Inc. for years as the owner and operator of Wreck Technology, a business specializing in traffic crash reconstruction and photogrammetry analysis. He is a respected ACTAR Accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist and has testified in both civil and criminal cases as an expert in traffic crash reconstruction.

Mr. Borchers is a seasoned investigator who recently retired after thirty years of service from the Oak Park Police department where he served as an Evidence Technician, a Detective and a Sergeant in both the Patrol and Investigations Divisions. He successfully completed the FBI Instructor Development course and numerous other high-level courses. He is a pistol, rifle, shotgun and simunitions instructor, a pistol and rifle armorer, and a range master.

Mr. Borchers is a member of the International Association of Identification and the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association. In addition, he was the former President of the Illinois Association of Technical Accident Investigators. Mr. Borchers brings substantial breadth of experience to Larsen Forensics & Associates, Inc. and our clients.
